There was a uprising happened in Boston on April 18, 1689. People against the rule of Andros. Andros was commissioned governor of New England in 1686. Members of the Church of England, they are Purtians agree with government. They were taken into jail.

follow restrictive Navigation Acts. He never admited people owned their land. He limited the town meeting and let the officals who are not so popular to be a leader in colony. Because of these, people became mad to him.

 

People get together outside Boston at Charlestown just across the Charles River and at Roxbury. Around 8 a.m. A ship of Charlestown companies cross the river. People take the stuff. More and more people join it. Around 8:20 a.m. They start to control the leader. At last, they eventually surrounded Fort Mary, where Andros was quartered.

Under the lead of old Massachusetts colonia, at the beginning, the refused to surrender. But on 19th, sailor were told the captial wanted to run away to Franch to join the exiled James, they just surrendered.
